Sam was getting up in the years fifteen ya' know. His ever slighter frame and weakening of age prevented him from going down stairs, so we had been taking him out the front door. Most of the time he would take care of business and come in. Occasionally he would get it in his head that there was an adventure just round the corner or down the driveway.

Right outside my window was this beautiful deer. It seems to be glowing here but I was still sleeping when I took the pictures so I am just glad that the pics are visible. To date she is still around but it is hunting season. So I am hunting [...]
